    1. Psalm 44:13-26. Cry out to God as King
      • Sometimes you may face difficulties in your life, not because you are doing something wrong, but because you are doing something right.
      • Suffering is not necessarily a result of disobedience to the King

        • Possessions – try them out
        • People – engaged with friends
      • The cost of following Jesus, which may include suffering does not compare to:

    2. Luke 16:1-18. Sort out your attitude to money
      • Money is a tool – how we use our money on earth can have eternal consequences; your money can be used to see God’s rule and reign coming in to people’s lives
      • Money is a test – be honest and trustworthy steward of everything God has given you, including money; if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
      • Money is a threat – you cannot be a slave to two masters; money is to be used, not loved; don’t love money and use people; love people and use money
