Wake Up: some time in-between 5 am and 6 am

Train:

  • Front squat – bar only
  • KB stiff leg deadlifts
  • Bench press + KB rows
  • 1 arm DB bench press + Barbell rows
  • Pushup + Pullup
  • Lunge 3 min.
  • ***Kept it light and quick today***
  • 10 minutes of Mobility work

Nutrition:

  • Bulletproof coffee & banana
  • Eggs, 2 sweet potatoes w/ KG butter, broccoli & cauliflower
  • Beef, green beans, 1/2 avocado
  • 1 cucumber

    • Eight Things That Really Matter to God
      1. Psalm 44:1-12. Trust
        • What do you place your trust in?
        • Put your trust in the right place: trust in the Lord
      2. Luke 13:31-14:14. Courage
        • Nelson Mandela – ‘courage was not the absence of fear, but triumph over it…the brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers fear
      3. Compassion
        • Jesus died to protect us, showing us compassion
      4. Humility
        • Jesus tells us to ‘take the lowest place’
        • if you are content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself
      5. Poverty
        • We are to spend our time serving those who won’t be able to return the favor
      6. Deuteronomy 15:1-16:20. Generosity
        • don’t be hard-hearted or tight-fisted when you see poverty and need
        • we should always be ‘generous, open purse and hands
      7. Remembrance
        • Do you easily forget what God has done for you?
        • Holy Communion – constant reminder of the death and resurrection Jesus
      8. Justice
        • the rule of law really matters
        • the judges should judge people fairly
        • where the rule of law is not strong, the innocent can be arrested and imprisoned simply because someone has been dishonest and taken a bribe

What I Am Reading:

  • Common Law Handbook – almost done; I will have to do more research into what the book presents, but I am completely fascinated with information regarding U.S. law, government, etc.
